Hi,

I’ve been using 3ds max for a couple years now (since V4) and I’ve never in my life had this problem, When I go to create a object (doesn’t matter if its a light, helper, camera, or box) It automatically puts it in the center, not a big problem right? Well when I go to size it, the sizing is all whacked out, it’s not the standard click somewhere on the grid and where ever you click it drags outward from there. It centers it and acts really weird (I don’t know how to explain it. Once I’m done sizing Y/X axis and Z sizing works fine. Now this is my main problem.

Once I’ve created it. I can’t move it at all!! But I can rotate. I have no idea why this is doing what it is. I will try to post a video up so you guys can get a better idea what its doing

Thanks for take the time to read this!

Ok I’ve finally figured it out. I was animating an object last night and was under the motion menu (menu with a car wheel) using a path constraint and accidentally made the path constraint the default controller. The TBC Position should be the default.

I figured I would let you guys know so you don’t waist your time replying.

Thanks.
Professor.
