i have 2 quesetions

-how do u make menu buttons and backgrounds, whenever i put a pic it shows no background only black and my mouse leaves tracks

-how do u make the splash screen before your game starts, my freind has this thing the made to go with fps but he out of town

1. where are you putting the files, becuase they have to be somewhere in your fpsc\files folder. I recomend

Files\languagebank\english\gamecore\backdrops

1 - make sure they are in .jpg format, that works best for me, and yes, like Zaibatsu said, put it in files\gamecore\backdrops, not the languagebank gamecore folder though

2 - it may be a seperate program he coded, i've never tried it before

so what's the job?

Right you are, you can save them in those formats also, i'm just saying that jpg is a easy format to use, it can be made in paint, if you really want to

so what's the job?

if you look in that folder, thats where (at least for me) they put all of the defualt files, and it works fine from there.
