DLL Talk / I have Dev-C++ but how do I actually code the DLL

I have Dev-C++, but I don't understand how to actually code out the functions to put in the DLL. Do I literally just program the Dark Basic function, or is it supposed to be a C++ function. I don't normally use C++, I use C, but I don't have enough experience in it to make anything useful.

I'm not exactly sure, but the DarkBasic help contents in the complier have information on this I think.
