out of curiousity, what is the average framerate folks are getting per completed level?

also is your level indoor, or outdoor?

what is the size of your level?

I cant help but to be curious as to what other folks are turning up.

S4 and myself take nothing under 28 frames on a moderately built machine. We each have multiple comps and use this to test the best we can to accomodate. Thats our cut off to reworking the map, or adjusting blinders(invisable segments) to raise the rate. Frame rates never been a problem from version 1 really....these updates just give us alot more leway. Others allow much lower fPS as you see in demos and this is acceptable to a point.

If you keep you map within those standards you should have no issues as far as frames... Locrain mentioned as low as 28 and thats also exceptable but not to desireable from my point of view. But you will still have a consistancy with the game with your hitting 28 frames. But he is right if it gets that low rework the map a bit maybe take into account how many entities you got in your area or unused open space on the map.

well personally, for me, too many is when your computer crashes! not just lags, but really crashes to the point of having to turn it off with the button! then just delete entities one by one untill you get a decent frame rate.

but no more than three characters near each other.

I about feel out of my chair laughing at this.....

To answer his question on how many is to many.... With all the new updates I really could not tell you I know that Lee has improved recently on this function so its just going to be a trial and error issue unless someone else here has that answer....

It's not a bug, it's on purpose...

Anyways, I would say 28 fps, maybe...

Project FPS - 71%
