I have finally gotten to the texturing stage of my robot model.
I set up the UV map fine and have began painting the texture. I used 3DS Max to see the updates directly on the model. All was OK until I closed the program. When I came back to resume my work, the texture looked like this (see image). I cannot get the texture to fit the UV coordinates. Can anybody help?

EDIT: No probs, I solved it

Sometimes the UV do not remain in place if you do not collapse the unwrap uvw modifier before saving out the file.

I always check the uvs are assigned correctly by collapsing the stack and re-applying the uvx modifier to check that the uvs are assigned correctly.
