I noticed that when you place an entity with sound, that entity can be heard clear across the map...
is there a way to have more control over the sound?

I do this... let's say I place the fire decal I change the Start script from repeatsound.fpi to default.fpi and then place a sound zone just covering the area I want the sound to be played in and put in the fire sound...

Someone may be able to give you a better way but this is what I have been doing....
