Thanks Dared1111. I'm not going to put this model up here for use but i'm giving it to the Blackout project over on their forums.

QUESTION TO ALL

does anybody what something modeled and textured? i want to improve my modeling/texturing skills as much as possible, and i think I might work better if i'm not doing it just for fun.

ooh! Just a short thing... can you make a few variants of a 8 ball sideways the original is attached. can you do: Indian (hat and Stripes)
Hippy (glasses, mustache
Robot (Laptop model)
Dude (glasses, tuxedo)
Scientist (White Coat, einstein hair and mustache)
Pregnant female 8ball

I only want one or two (sry if its alot, i have coding to do...)

Also can you texture it onto a sphere i have some trouble in DBPRO texturing objects

What do you mean by EVIL?

edit:
Also what is this - Pregnant female 8ball

and with the robot do you mean you want a laptop model or a robot?

Evil: red eyes added and prehaps a neaklace with a dagger hanging off

pregnant female 8 ball: eyelashes around the eyes and a "big bump" somewhere

robot: a neaklace with like a small laptop hanging off

Your models are good (better than mine...) But I gotta ask a question, even if I'm gonna look like a newbie for that... How do you texture your models... I already tried, but it never worked.

@sett - how I do? First I use Wings 3D's built in UV mapper(took a little getting used). I then take a screenshot of the UV data (alt + print scr), and load it up into paint. Yes, paint . I have photoshop but my version doesn't seem to work when i have Wings open or if i have just used it. In paint, for the simple pieces I just use the polygon tool or the box tool to cover up the simple pieces. For the harder pieces i first make the whole part one color and then just paint where i want to. I then load it back into wings and apply it to my object, and presto! I have a textured model! This is a very, very crude way of doing it though. But it works for me right now. (you don't look like a newb at all btw)

@Abhorrence is unruffled - I think i'm going to use the speeder pod thing in a game but not my robot.

Well here's a very low poly guy i'm working on for that game i mentioned i'm making above. I think it's around 126 polygons.
