Are you sure you clicked "new arena"? You might have made it in normal single player

Okay let me run off a few questions to see if this has already been done and then let's see what we can do to help..

When you started building your map you started it as new arena....and got the red map while you was making your map

Then when you was in your build section you went to the arena tab and set numbers of players to 2 or above....8 is exceptable...


This I believe we accomplished that you already did... Now when you start your game what does it say? or do?

Also if you can send a screen of the game in startup if it is going to single player....

Hmmm certianly not in a multiplayer format with what it is showing there...

just an idea to try.... open your FPSC then open your map...then goto file then prefrence make sure at the bottom it says multiplayer is checked...then click okay save then build your game again and test to see if this may help...

You may have already tried this but I wanna make sure you went trough all the steps before we try to trouble shoot this more...

Simple solution

Put those files in the folder located here:

Make sure to back up that folder first, just in case.. (C:\Program Files\The Game Creators\FPS Creator\Files\languagebank\english\gamebank\arenagame)

When you buid your game it gives you a choice between sigle player and arena.
It doesn't look like you chose arena.
Either when you made or when you built your game you forgot to set it to arena.

When I build a MP game, I can't change any of the default setting in the wizard or else it will turn out to be a 1P game.
(title page, music, gameover, loadscreen)

I have to build it first and manually change my settings in the setuplevel.fpi. It sux, but I've learned to live with it.

That is the bug I pointed out a few posts up. Follow my instructions, and it should work.
