Maybe I'm doing something wrong, but when I run the WinForms showcase sample, either the exe crashes (outside the IDE) or the VC# IDE returns ACCESS VIOLATION: Attempted to read or write protected memory. This is often an indication that other memory is corrupt. and points to the oDBCore.Sync(); command.

Is there any way to get this running?

Did you change anything in the source code?
Strange, that just worked out of the box here.

Do all the other samples run ok? I can only assume that if the WinForms sample isn't working, it could be a driver issue, or the sample has been modified.

Test out the other samples just to be sure that they all work ok.

Yeah, all the other samples work, and nothing has been changed, it's just that one.

Cypher Zero, it's quite possible that the WinForms app is crashing, not because of the sample itself, but because your Video card may not support one of the rendering modes I used in the sample.

Open the sample and try to see if it will rebuild and work after commenting out line 51:

oDB3D.SetShadowShadingOn(1);

I'm not saying that this is the problem, but it might be why all the other samples work.

Paul.
