I'm using GameSpace Light to create models for darkbasic for my game and some of the normals are bright and others are dark. I'm wondering if anybody knows of a utility that will fix this.

In DB use the 'Set Object Normals' command.

Ya, I already tried that and doesn't seem to have any effect on the object.

looks like you need to set your smoothing groups up. But that's Max's terminology, i don't know what the equivelent commands are in GameSpace Light

I don't have a sig, live with it.

This is because the surface smoothing data hasn't exported, there should be a DBP command called 'set smoothing', or 'set object smoothing', look it up in the help file, it may cure your problem.

But you may be able to solve it in GameSpace, I wouldn't know, never used it (although I've used TrueSpace and never gave across this problem)

Well I played around with this problem and fixed it by deleting the default lights inside GameSpace, Apparently it seem that some how the light maps where being exported I guess.
