If that specularity is in the texture, and not lighting in your modeling prog, I think you've got it. Finally a texture that looks like it has a little life in it, and isn't cold feeling and static.

Good job man

yes all switches will be animated and have a designated card, key, or other item that must be collected in order to use it.

!!! That's just what I need for Space Station X!! Will the pack be free? Don't get offended if I ask, it's only because you make a lot of free things.

No it won't be free.
You missed the thread about his upcoming switch pack in which he said he is going to charge a minimal amount for the switch pack.
There will be several switches in it.
He has made quite a few models for free and given them to the community.
I am more than willing to shell out a few bucks for these switches.
The innovator has earned that much.
There are a lot of free models available on this forum (I would say well over a hundred...I lost track of how many I have posted here) so if someone wants to charge a small amount for their stuff
(and a member can afford it) and the work is high quality then we should not hesitiate to buy it.
I for one could use a few more switches.

As fred said the pack will not be free but will include 20 switches and the proper key and or item to use them.
I would be willing to break them up if someone doesnt wish to have the whole pack but you will be better off to wait and just purchase the complete set it will be cheaper on you.

The bumpy texture in the middle of the dial seems a little odd, but otherwise it looks great!

Yea the texture in the middle is supposed to be like a rough plastic. and I may change it as I get further along with the final touches. and I still need to design the combination and get it textured. then its on to the next switch.

The above code that you see is just an item that you must find to activate the lock, much like a key. You cant actuallt turn the dial on the combination lock, if you wanted to do somthing like that I would recommend that you create a cut scene that shows the dial turning to the numbers.
