When I compile dbpro, screws up my icon.The colors go wild. Any idea why?


Any particular size 16*16/32*32/48*48/64*64 I should use?
colors 16 / 256 ?
file type .ico /.ico(os2) / .bmp?
I think I've tried all but it wil not work.

Icons are 32*32. You dont have to save it as .ico, just .bmp. I think icons are 256 color, so if it is over that, some colors will be missing.

yup ... o_O but my icon is 16depth... o_O why does it fuck up ? O_O

I make a few versions of my icon and then import them into the editor, one for each size:
16,32,64 and 128. It will pick between them, ie for the title bar it picks a small one, 16 I suppose, and if your in explorer say, it chooses a larger one, depending on your settings.

The colors are always screwed up though :S
