...putting in a new function, the DBPro routine compiles okay, but when its run, a window says the function could not be found in 24:memory.dll

This is the 29th function, but I should be no-where near the limit. The function is correctly exported (as the compiler wouldn't have been able to find the command to start with).

Has anyone else had this problem ?

Nope. I've just counted the number of functions in my utility plugin, and that has 50 commands/functions in it.

I know that this may be a silly question, but have you got the resource string set up with the correct exported name?

This happened to me, I made a mistake in the resource string. Personally I think it would be much easier if there was just an ini file with the same name as the DLL for this. The compiler could parse it much quicker.

Yes, the exported name is exactly correct - if it wasn't then the program wouldn't be able to run...

Not true - the exported name is *not* checked until run-time. Only the command/function name is checked at compile time. I've had this problem myself once or twice.

It does work okay on my other machine as well... I suspect something in DBPro has got corrupted, so I'm re-installing it.

A complete re-installation did it (unforunately just a re-installation of P4 didn't work)
