Hi, I just came up with an idea about having an alternative way to go through a door. Normally you have to press the enter key to enter a door which is good, but could be improved.....

I was wandering if you would be able to have 'Kick Door' or a 'Bash Door' way to go through a door. what i mean is...

when you want to go through a door, e.g an old door..

you could kick the door open instead..... this may be hard to do.

Here's what you maybe be able to do, change the enter door script to play an animation when the enter is pressed, so it plays a simple animation of a leg going towards the door and coming back again. This would give an effect of kicking the door open, which in my opinion would make the game more fun and interesting

also when you are carrying a big heavy gun around with two hands, it's hard to believe you would be able open the door with your hands.

Would this be possible ???

Try this, it's not excactly the same, but works well.

In the door properties, change the AI scripts main from dooruse.fpi (or whatever there is) to default.fpi.

Now scroll down to statistics and change strength from 0 to 100 (or whatever strength you want).

Now the player can't open the door, he/she needs to destroy it instead.

Give the player fists, axe, gun or whatever and he/she can destroy the door.

you could make it a dynamic object, with physics, then just throw an object at the top and it will fall over. but you don't wanna just run into it..

you haven't been noob slapped? oh here you go then. hehe just joking.
