I working actually at making different vehicule for a shoot them up so here is the start of making alien ship they are very low poly each of these are under 500 poly

well the third one is done not the better IMO but i can't take so long for each of them so the next one will be better i hope..

Xenocyth...well i use photoshop and combination of different techniques to get the result i want ...layer effect ...hand paint etc...

Prince Of Darkness...hey any picture link about Oban Starracers maybe i know but with another name ( japanese one maybe )

Oninmista...I use XSI 5.11 for modelling...

well i have two more to do to finish the first serie so ...see you soon

If I had to do something like this, I would have started off with a 2k poly model

I love the texturing. I noticed the game engine pic was darker, so I suggest making sure that the game actually has bright lights because I think the brighter ones look better.
Did you use a smaller texture size for the last ship? It looks a little blurrier.

Here's an idea for you...
