Very nice looking, but I can't buy. I'd rather order MP6 and MP3, sorry. I like stock media. Custom media makes my brain...errr...twitch.

really you need to do real textures. Any one can make strips of different colour, so you need to make them more decretive. I don't know if thats the right word but you know what i mean.

I also have photoimpact and know of its capabilitys; it is used mostly for lighting, not for actuall textureing.

good luck though.

The fact that its under a blue light doesn't help. We need to see the segments without lights, or with white light only.

ok, Terror, if you keep making stuff like that, I'm never gonna buy your pack.

All of your stuff is just to bland, or easily made in 5 minutes.

Get a free grunge HUD and menu buttons when you buy it.

Black Tower: I am using PhotoImpact Pro. Suggestions would be great.

Silent Thunder: What do you want to see in it?

@Black Terror

I would like to ask you nicely to change the name of your pack.

it could cause confusion with my site, and since the licenses on http://www.fpsmods.co.nr are very strict, people may assume that we are working together, and therefore assume my kicense on your product. do you see what i mean?

Yep, Bullshock your site is down.

I really would not worry about the name though, such a small thing to worry about, unless you hold a copywrite for it. NOt picking a fight just stating the fact.

Regards,
RF

Black Terror; you're going to want to put a watermark over your crosshair examples that is laid over the crosshairs (instead of under them). You might want to use a different color for the watermark as well. Right now I can perform a simple selection operation and extract all of them.

-Keith

EDIT: Looking more closely, I can see that the watermark is over the crosshairs after all, but you might still consider a light shade of blue (at 30% opacity, for example) or something similar. Enough to successfully watermark you product, but not opaque enough to hide them.

That is because he is overhauling it.
It would be nice if Black Terror changed the name of his segments pack seeing as Bullshock has been using that name for a while and Bullshock did point that out to him.
That's a matter for the two of them to discuss though.

Thanks for changing it

i wasnt so much concerned about people "Stealing" my name, but as fred had stated the site is undergoing a massive overhaul, and when its released, they may confuse the 2.

ive had a bad month, so im sorry if ive come accross rude, or negative, i dont mean to be. some of you have probbably noticed my lack of participation with these forums lately, thats simply because im in the middle of massive change in my life,so please dont take anything i sayin anegative way.

spice up walls... something about bandwagons...

[not you, me]

Little tip for your sales pitch. Don't put colored lights in the room showcasing your work, because people won't be able to appreciate the textures.

If the segments differ beyond wall and floor (plain), this is deserving of three quid. Let's see some awesome meshes!

Best of luck to you and your pack

EDIT: I don't like the sound of the whole "send money to this site." After all, it is a clean transaction process right?

I've read the whole thread and I've got to say (sorry to be harsh) but you should go back to the drawing board, wait until you get better at texturing, then retrying your pitch. I could probably make those textures without much fuss. By all means, feel free to pass out freebies to the community, but first you need to build up your talents. Once again, good luck to you and your work.
