I've made some very high quality characters (3.4 MB .X file) for FPS Creator. I animated their shooting/walking animations in a program called Anim8or. Does anyone know how I can export the animation alone to work with FPS Creator. Or can anyone tell me how to rig a pre-made animation for a custom character? I've tried for hours, but I can't seem to get the animations to work with the character.

If anyone can help me I'll let you have the models I made for free.

I've tried to same thing...sorry, but it's impossible to export your anim8or animations in any usable format. I've tried everything:

exporting as .3ds
converting .3ds to . xin milkshape
exporting as .an8 using a plugin to import the .an8 in milkshape
exporting just the character
exporting the skeleton on it's own

Nothing has works, so your best bet is to importing your model into milkshape and animate it within there.
