Quick question. If I want to save my arrays into a text document, I don't want the user to be able to edit them. So if I include a blank txt file in the final EXE, can DBPro read and write arrays into that text file without removing it from the EXE, thus making it editable to the user?

Thanks, CompuWiz

I don't think so, although I've never tried it.

Save array saves in a format that is not easy to read or edit, unless someone loaded your array in DBP. If you look at a text file that has an array in it you will see something like this:
? ? ??? ?? ? ? ??? ? ??? ?

And you don't need a dongle to compile, it just saves time by validating the compiler quicker every 200 or so compiles.

Yes I was wondering about that .ary extension. Thanks for clearing that up! And I know that about the dongle, but I lost the CD and am on the 500th compile (I have patch 4).
