yea quite alot to be honurst when i run a program sometimes it changes the whole windows message boxes black i.e. adreesbars shut down box etc and thats with out me calling any message box functions from the dll weird never had this prob b 4 either.

To validate the compiler, you need your DBP CD in the CD tray or have a USB Dongle. It needs to validate every few hundred compiles.

I had this problem a while back, I've now discovered that I had a virus. To make sure you have/haven't got a virus download AVG Virus Protection software(www.grisoft.com,I find this very reliable).Does any other of your programs nack up for no reason?
If it is because you need to insert the CD it will tell you to do so, did for me anyway.
