No.They are not going to include new features in the demo.
The demo has several features disabled so you can try it and see if you like it and if you want to use FPSC you have to buy the full version.
Most notably not in the demo is the ability to build your game.
If the demo had all of the features of the full version people might not buy the full version.

I meant all the new lighting features and stuff, obviously they aren't going to include things like compiling a game.

Why should they?

It represents FPSC how you get it defaultly if you buy it.
