Wrong forum again , and way to many polys for a game engine. This forum is for models in FPSC, not in W.I.P. form.

Thanks for posting though

The new rule (in the stickies you should have read) states that only FPSC ready models are to be posted in the Models and Media forum.
Please read the sticky and avail yourself of that information.
Moving this to 3D Chat.

how is 294 "way too many polies for a game engine"!?!?!?! that's perfectly reasonable for an FPS.

anyway looks nice, needs a nice texture

Unless he's got smoothing turned on, it looks way higher poly then he lists (is it triangulated yet?). I agree though; nice gun.

Yeah my bad on the polys...Only looked at one photo wile I was waiting on stuff to load

Seeing the hard lines for the slide then all the smoothing on other polys made me spew a quick judgment.

If it's under 300, are the slide and such different pieces? Anyways good luck on it. Not a gun nut, but looks like the at9 in m6 with it's boxier slide.

Guess my main point in posting, is that soon as looking at the image, it was a screenie of the modeling app. I have a bad habit of dismissing reading anything once I see it's not game ready, and for that assumption, I apologize about the poly count.

Can I see a wireframe? It looks great, but I'm curious

EDIT:

Well I just compared these screenies with the one in your first post with the 592 poly gun. They are exactly the same. I took the one looking directly at the side from both threads. I switched between tabs of the images, and they are, in fact, the same exact images.

So I'm guessing you didn't lower the polies?
