Ok I had v1.04 final release on my old fpsc but with all the bugs and building bugs it P'ed me off that much I reinsalled the whole lot..so What update would the community recomend that isn't that buggy?

1.02 is probably the most stable.

I recommend 1.06 or RC6 or whatever it is you call it.
Although I am using v1.04 now.
I would check out the different versions and the threads on them and make my decision.

If you had problems with 1.04 final, then don't even try 1.04RC6, it will give you some of the same problems. If 1.04 final gives you trouble, then stay away from everything higher then 1.04RC2.

Best advice we can give you, don't install any updates at all, until Lee sorts out the problems 1.04 final is causing. But if you do need to install an update, I would go with 1.04RC2

@Benjamin A - The problem with RC2 is that the objectives aren't saved, so when you save a game, the objectives are reseted.

I know, that's the same in 1.02, I discovered the bug. It was fixed in RC4 but from RC4 the updates became very unstable again. If you've got problems with RCfinal you most likely are going to have problems with any build above RC2. From RC4 some fundamental changes were made.

Which ever version you choose, it's never a win win situation. So the best is to wait for Lee to release another update or just stick with V1.0 as some have done.

If you use 1.04RC2, you could just give the player a notice to save at the start of the level to ensure the best results.
