i am needing to make a large map for a game im making
is it possible to make a bigger map?
and is it possible to make the map like Oblivion (eg when u walk into a house it loads inside the house, then when u go back out the door it goes back to outside)

Thanks

NO! However, that would possibly solve the massive slowness. Maybe Lee should try that out.

dang
well maybe i make a game and u can only enter a building once....make the door a winzone...then on other side it a winzone...go into biulding, win change map, walkaround go out win, change map to 1st map

but that would suck because u only got 1 chance

I recommend NOT doing that. I would get WAY TOO impatient. And yeah, the one chance thing. That wouldn't be a really good idea.

That might save a couple of frames on both levels, but having to go through two loading screens is just about as annoying.

Yeah, but not if he could figure a way to do it just like Oblivion. Oblivion loads as you play.

You can Load and Unload entity's while playing,as those take the most frames per second.look for it in the scripts forum, dont know who made it though.

YER THAT WAT I WAS THINKING
caps

u make a triggerzone across the path that triggers the entitys ahead of u to spawn..while it destroys the entitys behind u...the u make a hud that says "loading". then when u walk the other way back to the old part it destroys the new loaded stuff and creates the older enitis again

hope it works and makes sense

Yep, in the scripts, by Uman.

Just curious, does that help with the framerates?
