I currently have Builders edition Ver. 5.37 and i dont know how to update that to 5.54. whenever i install 5.54 i lose everything from the builders edition (meshe, textures, models, etc)

You could simply go in to the folder manually and then copy them to another loaction and then recopy them after you upgrade the product.

You need to change to the place where it gets your information. By default it is in its own folder. If you want it in another folder, just change it. Its under options.
