I UV mapped my knife model but when I try to add it to the model in milkshape it looks all messed up. Am I doing something wrong? If so, can someone fix this uv map to fit my model? Thanks.
Here is the uv.

NICE model!

yeah, see "FREE Knife model-with question" thats my thread. I don't know how to UVMap it either. I just got the free (non-trial) version of Lithunwrap, but when I hit "File>UVMap>Export..." and export it as a .bmp, It doesn't...WORK. lol. Its just a square with alot of vertexes.

I have that to "un-square" it, go to the toolbar on the side and click on "box mapping". That one works best. Hope this helped.

EDIT Whoops! I was talking about ultimate unwrap.

I thought I would help out and create a simple UV map for you. So attached is a zip file with 2.bmp. One is a simple texture I made and the other is the UV map so you can paint it. I also included the .X file so you can use it in your game. I am new to this forum so I hope the attachment works.

You might find this website of interest it will teach you a lot about modeling and texturing. I am not spamming the forums I am just trying to help out with what I do know how to do.
