I built my game level, and I sent it to my friends.

None of my friends can play with the built game. They gets runtime errors and unexpected windows errors. Why? I did something wrong?

I zipped the folder where FPSC save the built game files.

Hi!

Well they have DirectX 9.0c, andt they have 1 gb of memory.
But, they have AMD processor instead of Intel Pentium 4. Can this cause the problem?

I only compressed the built game's folder. (Where the exe file and the source files was). And I sent this to my friens. Is it correct, or I forgot to include some file(s) to run my game?

Thanks,
Chris

When I built the game FPSC saved the built game to a new folder under "MyGames" folder. I compressed this new folder and I sent it to my friends.

They said me, that they have the latest directX9.0c. But they got WIndows errors. "The program encountered a problem and needs to close"

I use Clickteam's Installer. It's great for packing everything up. However I don't know how to check the directX version before installation? I use the free version. Maybe the pro version has such features.

There are many 'editions' of DirectX 9.0c (like many Release Candidates of FPSC v1.04). Make sure your friend downloads it again now to make sure he has an up to date release.

Actually I'm having the same problem.
I decided to try my game on my laptop
and get an error when I try to run it.

I used dxdiag and confirmed that I'm
running DirectX 9.0c (4.09.0000.0904)
I hope this isn't v1.04 related!
