I made (my first model) toll pole and building:

File contains readme, liscence, tollpole, tollpole-open and tollbuilding. Someone could make better textures or animate pole to open and close !BUT ONLY IF SEND THEM HERE!. (I made animation but I didnt got it work with FPSC, so someone could say how covert it to FPSC...)

It looks really nice for a first model. And the texture's not too bad either, nice work.

Smudge a little dirt on the texture and it's there.
Thanks for the contribution!

TuPP3,

Greetings. Nice contribution! Many will appreciate this.

Animated, this could be assigned a door script, requiring the player to perhaps have found the proper credentials or password to proceed through the checkpoint...

Quote: "EDIT 09FEB07: Here's the animated version of the Toll Arm. Place it in your level, assign a switch to it, and viola! it will open with the use of the switch, and close with the next."

Thanks,

Seth Black

I've added this to my entity folder but it's not texturing when adding to the game. Did I do something wrong?

NewKlear,

Greetings. Here's the .fpe that I included in the download:

I double checked it, just prior to this reply. The texture displays correctly on my computer.

Did you place the tollpoletexture.bmp file somewhere other than the Animated Toll Arm folder? Did you make any line changes to the .fpe file?

I'm at a loss as to what else could be causing the problem that you're experiencing. It's pretty straighforward.

I hope this helps you in your endeavors.

Thanks,

Seth Black

How do I animate my entities? I use 3Ds max and anim8or as modelling program but how do I get animations in FPSC? I tried animate this with 3DS max so I animated it, animate was 50 frames 25 to open 25 to close. Then I exported it to .x (pandasoft plugin) and created .fpi with entity maker. I put animation section 25 like video tutorial said (if I remember right) main script was autodoor.fpi but entity wont animate in FPSC. Is there any tutorial from model program to FPSC?

You have to specify which animation is what or something in the fpe. I just remember seeing that from something Butter fingers made.
