u call that 'noob'?

for a person who (i assume) created his own buttons (mouse rollover effect), bg image (nice img by the way), links to audio (Quicktime) and jpg logos, etc etc ... its as simple as it is impressive kudos to u dude!

All u need to do now is just fill in those blanks, modify here & there (polishing the web), and its ready to rock!

It's certainly not a bad site! The graphics look really cool! Only the navigating is a bit difficult sometimes, because you have to go back eachtime. But a very good website! BTW My website has changed a bit, you can look to it too at [href]www.cuso.tk[/href].

True, graphically it's nice and simple however I can't say it's 'well designed'. Spider is right in saying it's a bit of a nuisance to go back after every page but more importantly is that it has no text at all on it - the site's just a bunch of images. What that translates to is long loading times for modem users and if you want lots of people visiting your site that's not a good thing, I'm using cable and even I have to wait for all the images to load before I can read anything.

I suggest laying off all the images a bit and using some text or at least lower the number of colours in the pictures so they load faster. Other then that, it's a pretty damn good site.

Or just have a smaller (in file size) image there before the bigger (in file size) loads over it.

Yep how u guess!

Fireworks for the buttons and pics then exported into Dreamweaver, both MX versions, also gona have to convert to xhtml.

Thinking of tryin to get the picture file size down!
Forget sometimes because I have broadband, that some people are still on 56K! Ooops

Oh well, anyone downloaded my demo yet "Spaced Out"?

Let us know what you think, it was a conversion of an Amiga demo I did back in the day when it was cool!!!

Used to be in many demo groups, did some really good ones and nobody new I programmed in Amos!! lol

Amos was the best!

I honestly think DBPro is the natural progression of the Amos series. I think Lee would be happy with that comment.

And the `new to DBpro comin from Amos on the Amiga` bit - dont worry, its a cinch! Good luck

<--- Amos Pro user.

Yeah man I used AMOS too - I took quite a lot of it too - nearly OD'd.

I actually loaded AMOSPro up the other day as I wanted to extract some .Abk files into .Bmp and .Wav. I wrote me a little convertor program and by jeez did I keep it short and sweet - talk about horrid - i'm sure my memories of it have been falsified because I remember it being such a dream to use... Trust me, DBPro is much better!*

Yeah m8 I find that aswell, apart from the 2 commands I can't do on this paint program! LOL
I've got loads of .if .mod pics and music files on my Amiga which I used to do various demos etc!

Would love a way to convert them from my Amiga onto a pc floppy to load into the pc as the Amiga can write to a pc floppy but the pc can't read an Amiga floppy!!

I used to love Amos it was great and think DB Pro is a million times better!!!! So far I don't think I'm doin too bad on DB Pro!!

By the way I know what you mean about the documentation though Amos had the best manuals goin!!! It's a massive tome having proper command explanation and examples etc!!

Hello there again!

I've took note of your comments of the site being bad to load, this was due to me doin most of it in Fireworks MX and just exporting to Dreamwever MX as I wasn't very good at Dreamweaver!!!!

I got a magazine on Dreamweaver MX the other day and have totally changed the site and done none of it in Fireworks now!!!

Let me know what you think guys!

Should be a lot better now as there are no back buttons!

Much better!

What is your fascination with apostrophes in everything: studio's, demo's, game's

This is not good English!

in games section, heading says games's! (two s's)

Also, why are you having problems copying from Amiga to PC?? Do a search on net for instructions how to configure amiga to read and write 720KB disks that will read on a PC. I used to do it all the time.
