A TON of wasted polies in the middle, and he is kinda flat. Like a park bench, ya know?

Other than that, looking good.

Yeah... he is kinda flat, but what I'm most concerned with is the arms... they seem like linguini noodles.

The legs look a tad boxy... usually when I'm shooting for low poly, I'll mix and mash pentagonal, or even better: slanted box geometry for the limbs.

Good effort buddy. I'm sorry but anatomy and geometry are the main issues though, fat legs, skinny arms, skinny mouth, I'm sure with the current polygons it would only take some scaling and adjusting to actually fix the anatomy, the polies around the torso, sorry, but ouch, to put it extremely bluntly, looks like you've done what I did when starting and went ahead with yourself.

It's a start, you can look at general character modelling tutorials and general character model wireframes to see how you model should look, even if they aren't specifically for your program, they always help.

Also it looks to me, you've only used the subdivision and extrude tools, there are others tools you can use that will do a better job, it can be best to make use of different methods on one model, except subdivision in this case, there's more than one way to smooth a model. For that point I have a couple of tutorials there:

I hope they help. And good luck.

[edit]
Just noticed this is for a game, optimal use of keeping it low poly is essential, try to avoid useless polygons, because they actually decrease the performance in your game

thanks, i know about the legs, and the arms, and that it is flat and that it has many polies on the torso. i have an answer for it all. This started out as an experiment for me to make an animal, and i wanted to make a head for once not being a sphere but something more than that, i just started doing random stuff, and boom, suddenly i had a head.

Then i started making the torso, and i thought i should just make some riddiculous stuff with it playing around. i wasnt planning on to make this a game model so i didnt care much about the polies and i wasnt thinking about that at the time. And the hands, i did that last at 4 - 5 am and i am so tired of making hands, i dont like doing them.

i didnt notice the extremely big legs untill after i textured the model.

thanks

i'll fix everything later.. And i checked out those links seppuku, thanks..

No problem, and I know how it is when starting out, it takes quite a bit of exploring before getting everything how you want it, that being said my first model was made up of spheres, cubes and cylinders, but it looks like you're heading in the right direction anyway.
