Hi guys and gals,

I've been learning how to use the TGC's Entity Maker and have imported a building from a .X file with multiple textures. All working nice and fine. But, when I walk up to the building I can walk up to the sides and stop in the right place but when I try walking up to the front I stop quite a way from it and when walking up to the back I can go in to the building. It looks like the collision positions are some way off. I've attached the FPE file to see if anyone can help!

Before anyone asks i've tried changing the OFFX and OFFZ values but with no luck.

Thanks in advance,

Steve

It says in the program that 1 is for polygon collisions.

Is this not correct?

Yeah, I have been using google sketch up for my buildings, and do experience some bad collision probelms when in FPSC. For the moment, Im using them as back ground fillers behind my main wall. But hopefully this maybe fixed, or it could just be a Sketchup probelm.

When I step into this library, I cannot understand why I ever step out of it.

You need to ensure that your model is exactly on centre axis in your modeling program before export. Also ensure the pivot of your model is centred.

I found that Entity Maker was making them a dynamic object even when I set them as static. Switched it to static and now it doesn't texture correctly but the collisions are now working right. I have multiple textures set from .X file with the .fpe texture = set to blank

One step forward one step back
