If you want to share your 3d app crated with Dark Basic Pro in a web community like Facebook.com there is no way to do it.
I know that content streaming is not easy yet all decent 3d engines like Torque 3D or Shockwave Player has that capability the is something that has to be a core component so the compiled EXE or better a new format will be able to run as an embedded web component that uses streaming for the encrypted assets so let say level one is loaded first than the rest of the game any that exe has the key for all the assets.
What do you think?

This may be possible in a future version of PureGDK. I'll have to remember to look into it.

I remember seeing a post on this forum somewhere a year or two ago about embedding your games in a browser, but the programme to do it was very expensive, look on the forums old posts, you might find it somewhere.

Well, there is - you could upload it somewhere and post a link to it. Not as immediate as embedding it, but still a way.

Found it

there was a DLL created in 2007 for barkbasic which claimed to embed a darkbasic window in a browser
SEE HERE
http://forum.thegamecreators.com/?m=forum_view&t=87518&b=5

Or try a Commercial alternative like igloader
http://www.garagegames.com/community/forums/viewthread/38279

Hope this helps

I cant get that DLL to work, but that may be because i use the Safari Browser, as for igloader, there site seems to be down, and i cant find a download for it yet, it looks like its no longer available, proberley because they priced them selfs out of business, (It use to cost quite a lot).

Does anyone know where to download it, or if there is any alternative to igloader?
