This idea occurred to me yesterday, that a different, yet managable game would be one where you don't play as a person, but as a robotic drone instead; and that an ideal contender for such a game would be the cypher, or something of a similar nature. There's nothing like hovering around spying on people and infiltrating heavily protected complexes as one of these things
The actual action of the game would be a mix of action and non-action, and with plenty of espionage at the top of the list. Stuff like taking a photo of someone, flying into a complex and retrieving/destroying evidence, flying into a dining hall and dropping poison into somebodies food. The last one just seems ridiculous, but at the same time something I have never seen before and would love to see. Just the idea of a mini helicopter sneaking into a room and crudely dropping poison into a persons meal, before rushing off again, bizarre

There could be action too and it would be equally crazy (I think) to have one with grenades attached, guns attached, even rocket launchers, although I don't want to pursue the mindless killing machine route too much. A lot of the action could be with traps like lasers, cameras, stuff like that.
The camera view would be a computery 1st person interface, almost as if you were controlling it remotely from your own computer... and in fact the game could revolve around acting as if you are genuinely controlling the drone in real time, e.g. when the thing is destroyed, the screen could revert to static and say "transmission interrupted", or when you begin the mission the whole loading process could be a pretend military login screen for accessing the drone. You could even reference the realtime aspect of the game by sticking the date, IP, time etc. in the corner of the screen on the drones camera.
The drone could also function like a desktop almost, with various bits of software on it. If you're concerned that there may be lasers in the room, then no problem because all you have to do is click on the drones' shortcut for running the IR camera and you are fine! Alternatively if you wanted to get out of a tight situation, you could hastily download a program to help you out (such as one which emulates a flash bang grenade with speakers and lights) and get away safely. There could be a whole ton of hardware and software to integrate with it over time.
I'm sure there was more I wanted to say, but I can't think of it at the moment, and I think I have said enough for now, hehe

Hope that isn't too long and that some people here will find the idea interesting. Here's hoping this one succeeds
