Hey how would i make a object follow the mouse.. .. the Arrow (Object) follows the mouse moving around the object symoblising aiming in the direction ur going to fire... for a side view 3d game

im sorry that example was pretty bad If u guys have played a java shooter game side view it lets u aim with the mouse curser thats what im trying to do in my 3d side view fighting game. but instead of just using the mouse to fire gun bullets. im replaceing the curser with a Object in the shape of a arrow which is in a fixed position -200 away from ur player the fixed object rotated around 360 degrees allowing u to fire in any direction.. im dbHidemouse(); and just need to know how i can make the object rotate around following the dbMouseX, dbMouseY position of the mouse curser thanks guys for replies much appreciated.

common guys someone has to have some idea on how to do this... or get the same result im trying to use a aiming system to fire Ki balls in a direction ur mouse is at when u press left click.. I thought u guys were smart Theres a free if u can solve this prob of mine You can check the game out at Mod Db http://www.moddb.com/games/dbt yes it says the game has stop being developed but im programing it as a secondary project wiel we are starting the new project..

I think you should post this is GDK... You might get better results
I'd help, but I'm tired and way too lazy to think about it that hard...
Just try to use logic, it's that too difficult to turn an object based on mouse movement...
