Hello The Zombie Killer,

I think what you've given here is just a simple "follow" script, I think what Shadowclaw257 is looking for is a more slender styled AI. If you're not sure what I mean, look up the Slender games."
Actually, I did not know this game called Slender. Today by morning (in my time zone) I saw some videos on the internet about that game; a kind of terror and thriller set in the middle of a dark forest, where one person using only a flashlight without any kind of gun collecting scattered messages. Then suddenly the player is attacked by the Slender. Wow, very scary game play!
Let's think about it: Who would be crazy enough to walk into a forest alone at the middle of the night, unarmed with only a flashlight reaping messages scattered everywhere?
In my opinion, I think, in fact, the Slender it does not following the player; however, it is spawned through trigger zones spread throughout the game level(woods) and in the darkness; therefore, he could appear anywhere invisible and attack the player suddenly.
The sound effects give the feeling that it(Slender) is following the player, but it is not because the character actually is being spawned and destroyed through the various trigger zones scattered in the game scenario.
In the case of Shadowclaw257, I believe if he wants to make a game-like Slender he will have to code the AI for Slender character unfortunately, because it will be very difficult or almost impossible to find out some AI script ready to use and drop it in game he wants to do.
Cheers,
Northern
