Hi, i just started to use milkshape to create dead bodies, i followed airslide's tutorial and created all the proper files (the x file, fpe and texture), when i load my fpsc x10 and put a body on the map it shows up okay in the editor but when i test game the model is gone, there is nothing there, even when i set it to static, anybody else had this prob or know how to fix??

I'm not sure about x10, but what export settings are you using? There are a couple of posts here on the forum for Milkshape Export settings to FPSC X9, but I'm not sure about x10

I want robotic legs.

The problem may be in your FPE file. If it contains the line

IsCharacter = 1

remove that line. For some reason characters always dissapear in static mode. For me, anyway.

Okay something weird just happened, i deleted that line and then tried it with static, it didn't show up in test game but when i walked to the spot where it was i walked up and over it as if the model was still there but it was invisible.

Then i tried it as dynamic and the model showed up, but it was completley pink!! That somehow didn't look right to me, i'll try and attach a screen.

the problem might be in Milkshape, that happen to me before, after you load your model, select it, create/load the texture, you will see on screen that looks great with the texture and everything but the texture has not been actually assigned to the model, you have to click on the Assign button, otherwise when you export it from milkshape and import it into fpsc it will not have texture and it will be invisible or have some weird colors. Don't forget, load your model, load texture and click Assign then export it. Good luck.
