Model Pack 61 is now available.

The Pack is designed to re-produce an old 'Retro' look in homage to the 'Dungeon' style Theme.

To All

I would just like to apologise for the poor quality video clips available for this Pack but can assure you all that this is not the case for the media within the Pack.

Thanks to all

The videos were fine, Ross.

Another great pack, and will go great with your MP41. Best of luck with this.

It looks terrific!

I love the universally usable segment texture, the new weapons are really cool (expecially the "rotating spikedisc spear") and the items are just what every dungeon needs.

I just think, that "Dungeon Fooder" doesn't reflect the value of this pack at all

Great work as always @Ross!

I'm not sure what your saying here.
Are you clicking the new banner I have recently placed as my signiture?
If so, i have to tell you that its there just for 'show only' (advertising) and not a link to anything.

You can get more details about the Pack on the FPSC main web page plus there is a link just under the screenshot in the first post here.

Sorry for the confusion.

Hello Ross,

I got this pack and I really wanted to commend you on the work you have done. Out of all the packs available, I still like your MP's the best, which include MP8, MP41, and now this one. It is your media that got me into the development side (that and the begging/prodding from BlackFox LOL). I just want to say thank you very much for the efforts and detail you put into these, and hope others will find great usage/enjoyment as I have.

Cathy

Cool, so I take it that you made this out building out of the segments and entities available in the model pack. Cool indeed.

You know those spike things on top of the building. That must be for keeping a giant monster from sitting down on top of it when he's tired and wants to rest.

Thanks for the screen shots which look cool, although the Pack was originaly designed for 'Interior' use but you have proven that it can be used in other ways.Hope you like the Pack.

Hi Ross

Like a little kid I unpacked my new toys and tried them all: this pack with the animated entities and automatic HUDs is great for anyone who wants to see what can be achieved in FPSC.

well done.

Thanks

Eugene

Thank you for your kind comments plus you have picked up on part of the goal of the Pack which is to 'maybe' encourage users to create their own scripts and huds to personalise their games.
As you know there are some 'Pickups' which don't do anything when the player picks them up and these were included in the Pack to encourage users to maybe implement their own script systems (cash, reward points.....) to suit the needs of the type of gameplay they wish.

NOTE - Please don't forget to have a look at the 'Hud Template Folder' which I have included in the Pack which contains all the Image Huds in the Pack and a tutorial on how to create your own text messages upon them.
It can be found at this address within the Pack:
C:\Program Files\The GameCreators\FPSCreator\Files\gamecore\huds\DFodder\

Hi Tanya,

I'm not Ross, but click on

Create Games
Then point cursor to FPS Creator and Click on it
Then hover over Model Packs 61+ until popup menu shows on right
Point cursor to Model Pack #62 and click on it
This will take you to model pack #62 which is Ross' MP (Dungeon theme)

Addendum:

Ross beat me to it because he made it easier with a link.

I thought I would take you step by step because TGC made it a little more difficult to navigate.

Here are some pictures I took of an Aeylid-like room that is made from MP62 segments with some added stuff from Ross Dungeon and Graveyard Packs. Some of the segments and items had a little tweaking by me, more of that soon

Nice, Storyteller. That's what I like about the model packs. Very often you can combine a lot of different things.

Gald you like it

Personally I have a very hard time to combine things from different artists. Every time I start something new I have more or less to decide, which 10% of all the media I have available "can" be used.

Now were talking, this is what media developers want to see is being done with their creations. If creators took the time to provide TGC with screenshots which show the stuff at its best (the ones used just weren't doing the pack justice) I reckon they would have higher sales.

Awesome! Its one of those threads.

Excellent screen shots and I'm glad to see some of my media being used in different ways.

Rolfy
I know what you mean about the screen shots that were used to advertise this Pack but the problem I have is that my work PC is on its last legs at the moment and could not handle building any complex scenes (which I did try to do) and my other PC died on me just two days ago.
Thats one of the problems with creating and constantly testing Model Packs on 'old' PC's, the stuffing gets knocked out of them.
Will have to get a good modern Pc soon and see what it can do.

Thanks for the offer but I'm afraid that I will not be doing any more official Packs for TGC.
Need some time out soon.

All the best of luck.

EDIT - BTW The bearskin Rug in 'The Lighthouse' by ASTEK was done by me and is in TGC Store.

You managed to do it again, your faster than I on the keyboard and thats for sure.
