In FPSC games, there has been one thing that annoys me, that being the movement. I know theese are likely to be doable (is that a word? :S) with scripts, but that isn't the point. I'm not demanding the feature as an addon, I'm recomending the feature in the default editor.

1st off, I'd like to see jumping FEELING like jumping, rather than floating up for abit (especialy on more low end computers.) and landing. This could be acheived through sound effects and camera movement, and the speed of a jump slowing down and speeding up slightly and critical points.

Also, Movement itself. This just kinda feels like a very slow hover, especialy on my machine (19 FPS ftw. ), and I'd just like to see it sped up. Maybe even some head bobing.

Finaly, sprinting? It would be nice to have the player think if he can sprint jump this gap without falling to his untimely death, or have a death trap escapable only by sprinting (Think indiana jones, the giant stone ball chasing after you.) or if he can get through an area of deadly automatic blow pipes without one shooting him in the leg, via sprinting.

This edits may seem somewhat minor, but I think they'd make a big differance in games.

On a slightly off topic note, what is this "migration" I'm hearing about? Any links?

If you try it, jumping is slightly better when sprint compared to a standing start...

and I don't mean extra animations, just some tweaks to the camera positions when jumping, extra head bobbing when running, etc.

most of what you said about running can be done, without scripting. I use X10, so I can't be sure if its in x9, but if you right click on the player marker in your map, then you can set the player speed. No extra camera movements though.

Yea , im thinking it to , you can add sprinting animations , you just need to add it to the gunspec (I think) , just make a sprint animation and tell the gunspec that when you start sprinting (Or when shift is pressed) it should play the sprint animation.

I also got a good idea for stamina limit

collision could also be... more responsive. I dont like being able to walk into a wall and not stop- i kinda... bounce around and it doesnt feel reliable.
