If you your parents don't like you looking at naked ladies, then click toggle now or press back, if they catch, you're to blame if they go mental, with some parents, artistic nudity makes no differance to them . (Or in my case its me mocking my parents if they draw naked posers )

I've been caught up with programming to give my modelling anything since I stopped working on Vincent and Bahamut (but they will be left until another time)

I decided to model something that isn't Final Fantasy related, and came up with this female character, she still needs quite a bit of polygon work, where things look a little ugly, but I will fix that, she will need her head attached, some clothes, hands, hair, texture and I may use displacement maps, but I haven't got anything successful out of displacement mapping yet.

Made in Hexagon 2.1

Nice model - you build from scratch or modify from Poser?

looks good. Her hips are a little pointy, also her eyes are alien like. I think they're too big. I think her head's too tall also.

Oh yeah and she's decapitated

This is way better than most organic efforts I've seen. Overall it looks very good. I'm very impressed with the arms, mainly because I always get scewed up around the elbow. You seem to have kept it all impressively neat even in those hard to reach areas.

There are a couple of odd bits though.

Her arse is way to big and sticks out too much at the sides.

There are seams where you've clearly mirrored for symetry, but you havn't tidied up afterwards. Just below the ribs/breasts and the neck are the main offenders here. It gets quite sharp-it should be flatter.

The back is similar to the point above, though due to the fact that the back does dip in naturally, it's nowhere near as obvious.

The top of the back is a bit odd. There should be two (barely noticeable) shoulder blades-one on each side and a dip in the middle. You seem to have done the inverse.

Definatly a big improvment over your previous 3d blundering () but needs abit of tweaking as everyone here mentioned.

What a world we live in when nudity is considered to be avoided, but the fact that the model is decapitated goes without any warning whatsoever.

hey yer make her into LABARYNTH!!! THE QUEEN OF OF THE THIRD EYED UNDEROWRLD!!!!

Nice model though. Let me be the first to say...

Her breasts look a bit scary. Maybe tell her to cut back on the silicon insertion.

I love it when nerds post on 'warning nudity' topics.

Lol, anyway, nice start. Will be good updated.

She's looks alien, not human, which is good if you made an alien woman.

@Odd mind, thanks, I see another Jonny Ree here , talking of Wacom, what sort of price are they, I was photoshopping with my mouse and it just gets on my nerves.

@Greenlig thanks, all will (hopefully) be fixed in the tidy up.

you can pick up a graphire tablet for about 80 quid.

you need to think about your edge flow, at the moment its very.. erm.. gloopy. (I can't think of a better word....)

your edges currently don't do that much, and everything looks a bit stuck on. you need to think about muscle flow, especially around the breasts, shoulders and crotch. Basically, your edges should match the way that muscles are laid out under your skin, this gives you a much more believable topology, is over all less poly intensive and will help deform your models better when animated.

have a look at this great example of poly flow from a chap called ChaosEidolon over at polycount

edgeflow... I hate that, I can never do it. Probably because i never plan out anything I model. Just cuz i dont want to scan it in and resize ect change computers go downstairs all that crap.

again once i get a wacom table... ; ;

and thanks musashi i have a tendancy to quote him (well once in geek culture) but i guess this could be considered a graphical representation of the form i would wish to convey upon 3d space O_o.

nah just kinda... needed red marker on it is all.
