I am going to try to do a guy and girl sitting around a campfire in a forest on Independence Day so there is red, white, and blue fireworks in the sky.

Here is a screenshot of my entry Fireworks by Jammy-Soft

Dragon Knight, very bold and colourful fireworks - I like.

Ultimate_H, Like the cartoon effect, however, according to the rules we are supposed to submit source code with entry. I could not see yours. Just a heads up.

Your right Dragon knight it does look like a bat - never noticed that.

Josh Mooneys entry does look good from what I can see and good luck to you, however it seems you have set yourself a massive time consuming task, which I would never be able to match and keep my girlfriend.

That's why I like compos with more than a first prize, Then I get a chance of some recognition. Not that I have had any success so far with the community compos.

These compos are good fun though, they force us to complete projects and are a great way to learn. So come on peeps, more entry's please.

Its not rocket science, unless you want a rocket.

hehe nice Jammy didn't realise your project had sound , *had my computer on mute* pretty cool how you pay tribute to the reason we have a bonfire night. ^-^

I'm enjoying the competitions as it helps me build up a portfolio of things created, as all I have to do is transfer them over to my own c++ engine.

Thanks, I had wanted to try out the cloth commands as well as the particle ones which are new to me, and thought the old Remember Remember rhyme would hide how lame my fireworks were turning out.

Then I noticed it was quite hard to read the banners, so quickly recorded the audio commentary, The explosions and whistles are me on the mic. as well. I decided it would be quicker just to record what I want, than trawl through piles of copyright free material.

Disappointed that some never finished their projects and hope Josh Mooney and Zeus post some sort of finished product to let us see them as both looked very good.

Hope we get more interest in the next compo. Come on peeps support the community and show what you can do. You may even get a reward.

Thanks Dragon Knight, Think the poem won it for me because your fireworks were great. Recived my plugin today, Dark Clouds, so expect to see it in a future entry.

Thanks again Daniel and TGC.
