Have you YouTubed anything made in DarkBASIC? Or maybe you could, I just used the free version of Fraps to make a 30 second clip - although had to convert it afterwards, because the format wasn't liked by YT.

I'll start the ball rolling. This is a clip from my first ever test using DarkBASIC Classic, in May 2003. It was a simple straight line racing simulation, most of the work went into the race-cam, which doesn't look too impressive when I look back now :o

I've got some videos of my project on there right now. Here's a direct link to the latest one...

It shows how the combat system works right now. Still no gambling and strippers to be seen, but I'll change that soon enough.

Cheers batvink for posting one of my vids.

It's quality to see what people have put together. YouTube makes it so easy to check games out with absolutely zero effort. That Soul Hunter looks pretty damn good for DBC too, I must say. Always surprised at what can be achieved with it.

There's my claymore island lighting vid:

I couldn't remember if Operation Fallout and the Forum name Fallout went together. My simple check (TDK's forum) failed, as that forum is down.

BatVink, just so you know, I've heard some good things about Cam Studio a freeware / opensource AVI recorder

Looks good, wonder if it can record DirectX output though? I'll test it later on.

I quite like recording AVI from within DBPro, like grab the screen, and use one of the AVI plugins to manually record it frame by frame. This means the video can run at the exact speed you want, but you can do some neat things with it and you have a lot more control and the only limit is your hardrive space really.

Jeku, BatVink : Thanks a lot.
It started as a DBPro project, but now it is DGDK, so all the videos are made with the DGDK version.

Why aren't we all just directly inserting the embed HTML given to us by YouTube onto our forum posts? It would be a darn sight easier than clicking all those annoying links so many times.

Your signature has been deleted by a mod. It hasn't really, this is just me trying to sound funny. My attempts are pointless.

Because you can't embed HTML in your posts You can put forum tags in there, which the forum will parse and replace with real HTML tags. However, allowing full scripting access in our forum posts would open a can of worms.
