Hey guys,
Pardon that completely terrible Post before,

In The Light of Silent Hill 5 & Origins being released in the near future I was inspired to create a scene from Silent hill (or similar)
just wondering if you could critique it.

I'm Posting the Normal world version of the scene as i am still working on the Alternate World version, I hope to create the effect of changing using 3DS MAX Ill post the vid momentarily

What's that brown stuff that someone has smudged all over the wall?

On a serious note, it looks good. A bit heavy on the light and shaders though, especially since I can't see any light source. Perhaps add a light somewhere?

Ok, second, Ive rendered the scene with the maps for the alternate version, Im having a hard time making the transition in 3DS Max, would someone give me some pointers?

PS: heres some screenies of the Alternate world, again i want to know ur thought.

The orange tile on the wall really clashes with the brown/yellow above it...maybe darken that color a bit, as well as the sinks and toilet? So its a little more consistent.

Other than that, looking good. That floor really looks nasty. In a good way. I think...
