Here are a few Built in Character Creator Ideas to make FPS Creator Better :

1. Choice of Male or Female with height and weight optional.

2. Ability to add your own or download from many meshes to shape your character.

3. Choosing which body parts represent each ligament by dragging your curser over the points to highlighting them. This would allow multiple legs or arms if needed.

4. Choosing if your character can use weapons, duel weapons or if your character has a melee attack.

5. A easy built in animator that allows you to do a frame by frame to create an animation with the use of weapons or objects that can be imported. After you should be able to assign a button to do this action in the game.

6. The character creator should have options for enemies, friends or neutral and allow you to choose step by step, which actions are taken if the npc see's an enemy, friend or neutral character. For example :

"You've created a Enemy and you want him to first walk up to a character and then do the melee attack you created" if the character is used as a playable character a button will be assigned for that action which will allow you to be a zombie for example that simply attacks without a weapon. There should be an option so that if the NPC is a certain distance away from a enemy, friend or neutral then they will do the actions listed in a drop down menu for all 3 types of characters.

7. Clothing and textures should be simply jpgs that can be dragged onto the screen and stretched on to the needed areas of the model
with an option to make each texture appear as clothing or skin. Items, addons and props should be able to be dragged on and attached to the character your designing.

8. Blinking and posture should be set to add to the effect of the characters along with the option to cast a shadow and to brighten ,darken or change the color settings of your character once you select the regions to edit with your mouse.

Thanks for reading! Hope to see this created someday!

I Would Love To Have This!

This would make it so much easier to create your own characters. I really hope that they will add this to a new update, as it would help out A LOT of people.

Great idea man!

Why don't you just learn how to model... do you know how much work that lee has already? Besides you don't even need something like this. Sure it would be nice but don't expect it to be in an update in the near or even far future...
