I send the folks at the game creators a message a couple of days ago, because i was really interested to buy the agk 2. And with the discount it just sounded good, but i wanted to clarify something before i purchased.

Sadly the days are now over, and so is the offer . And yet, no reply back.

I do see these offers come from time to time. But will it come back online again soon? I have this week free and i want to make good use of my time. Especially knowing it can import levels from FPSC.

What do you want to clarify, maybe you can get the answer here on the forum?

It is easiest to buy the FPSC2AGK program, otherwise you have a lot of hard work to do.

If there is going to be an FPSR2AGK. But i found out that for what i want to do, the normal FPSC is also good.

But i found out a bit late since now the deal is gone.

It was an 25% deal off the bronze pledger. And in april there was an 30% off that. But i wasnt keen on it back then, because there was no mac version back then. I did buy the ebook while chatting with someone from the live chat however, but it seems nobody is online these days.

If I get notified of any deals for the newsletter, I'll update this thread and let you know.

Funny how there was only 4 people in the queue when asking a question( through the website) and now it has increased to 5.

I see there is a winter deal out now, however it says it is for version one, but once you click on it, it says the community edition and eventually it brings you to the http://www.appgamekit.com/ page. Which is the new one.

So can any clarify what it is, that you will be getting? Because i have all of the other packages (except fpsc reloaded and agc v1)

Seems that the deal is only for V1, which is the one still sold on AppGameKit.com. I think TGC is playing a risky game by still selling and advertising AppGameKit V1 instead of V2, without informing potential buyers that V1 is no longer being supported at all. So users will end up with an unsupported old version and be expected to pay for V2. You can actually get V2 cheaper than V1 at standard cost through the pledge link, which TGC does not promote much.

v2 alpha 7.1 is ~90% bug free , its still in developing for a long time ...
it take longer than expected because a lot of work.

v1 in this special winter offer at fb for 30$ is very ok.
i had bought it Dec. 2012 at offer , the first v1 version.
in 2 years a lot of trouble was fixed.

i saw the winter offer also here at fb.

WELCOME, the only way to get important answers from TGC is it's great community forums! However, don't ask anyone about the engines progress dates!

I think I paid at least $100 for v1 back when, so I would jump on the pledge deals http://www.thegamecreators.com/?m=view_product&id=2350 if I were you ($58). I expect and hope that TGC raise the price when v2 nears completion... Also, I wouldn't mess around with v1, as there have been so many improvements in v2 already and it's quite usable in its current state (plus it has a Mac version)!

I would say, get the Bronze v2 pledge before they decide to increase the price. AppGameKit will be launching on Steam soon and while there could be a deal coming, there could also be a price increase coming.
