I tried to do a scary maze game.
I could not find any scary graphics, so it ended up with
this fairy tale thing:

I've had a quick go off this and done the first two mazes.

I quite like the idea of this but it needs a little more going on.

The graphics were nice and I like the look of the dungeon and the monsters.

Part of me quite likes the simple controls and moving between fixed waypoints but it doesn't quite work when running away from the monsters.

It was a little too easy to get lost in the maze and it felt more like I was aimlessly wandering around rather than exploring. A few more landmarks would probably sort this out.

The other thing that was a initially confusing was when I had to tap the screen to collect the key and Jane but then had to walk through the door. A quick explanation when playing the first maze would help.

Also, does the game not save the player's progress? It really aught to.

Thanks for testing the game.

You spotted every flaw I was afraid there was.

I made me a deadline, which I had to meet.

Maybe that is not a good excuse.

After 4 mazes (1 map) the game saves your highscore,
and after that you can select next map at the start also.
It's kind of saving players progress after every 4 mazes.

With AGK2 it's so easy to release a game,
it can lead to hasty ones

I made it through the 4 maps on the first try, but couldn't read the buttons, so I may have pressed the wrong one.
I never got to input a name or anything, it just started over, and then I got killed on the 4th maze.

It looks like you have the 3D stuff well under way.

Sometimes simple games can be the most fun.
Pac-Man has more installs on more platforms than any other game out there, and it is very simple in design.

Congratulations on your release, and I am looking forward to your next game.

Good fun game.

I too got a little confused, spent a good 30 seconds trying to walk into the key (for some reason I assumed it would be collected by walking into it). A one-off instruction "tap to collect" would be cool.

The monsters are really good, nice job with the models.

With the sound on and Jane saying "no-o-o-o" every couple of seconds can get kind of irritating and repetitive, I had to turn the sound off to be honest. Any chance of reducing the frequency of the "no-o-o" scream or adding a few extra different sound effects?

Thanks,
Yes, Jane could say "help me" also and not so often. If I update, I will do that change.

No, I think having a deadline and meeting it is a good thing. It's much easier to have the development of a game drag on, to not know when it's finished.

Ok that's makes sense. It might be worth mentioning that in the games description. In fact, for all the comments regarding instructions you could just update the description on the play store rather than updating the app itself.

That's true. I added instructions to the description.
