Is in-app purchasing now supported for the Amazon store (for Amazon devices) using AppGameKit Tier 1?

I'm new to AppGameKit & searched this forum trying to find out. A year ago it apparently wasn't possible, and a post from as recent as last month went unanswered. This would be extremely useful functionality given the increased demand for freemium apps over paid apps.

Does anyone know the current status or plans for Amazon IAP?
