Loosing the thread myself, what's the point?

Seriously though, It's nice to be able to put a playable game on the web. You could put demos on your website for example.

i think this is intended to replace Flash
Flash was good, as code was obfuscated and not exposed like HTML5

Well for demo is not bad, but, as the game will be downloaded in local during the demo, everyone can maybe stole some resources... hmmm i don't know. It doesn't convince me.

Bwahaha baxslash, that's sew bad.

But, yes. The lack of a web-playable output is the main lacking thing for me in AppGameKit (I know many don't agree), so I am all for it. For example, I like creating games for game jams. Anymore, many people won't even try your game if they have to download it. Sad? Maybe, but I can understand that with the ability to create web versions easy in so many game technologies nowadays...

There is a market for games running within browsers. There are publishers like Kongregate that focuses mainly on the web. Unless it's very easy to implement it should only be considered after the 3D stuff. Web is one more platform that would be nice to have.

I'd like to include AppGameKit apps on my website to accommodate certain functionality.

For example, I like cars, and I'd like the ability to modify cars in real time like in need for speed, or 3D Tuning on my website. Or to create interactive progression timelines.

I could do this in flash, but I don't own or know flash, whereas I do know AGK. (And they did have freedom engine for a while which works in browser.)

if the people allow flash on her pc why not make
the agk player as secure addon for firefox browser?
then it just need to get a monopol
but we need a way to load from bytecode that includes files/data.
