I've cleaned up the chat (thanks Eric T for capturing it), hiding those areas in particular where the qserve program ... um ... hicupped

I don't suppose anyone caught the next few lines after the end of the log? I was also very interested in the answer to RobK's question.

I have traced the error of qServe down to a renegade FOR. I havent investigated fully, but its FOR blah=variable1 TO variable2. If certain values are variable1 or variable2 then it could cause problems .

Visit the Db chat room, ask me for details!.

@Exeat

lee - it is possible and a likely addition and I hope you understand that we cannot seriously look at the possibility of implementing this until the class a bugs have all been fixed

The uncut log of it was posted on RGT, cracked me up... there were like 3 of them 'Well did you remember to Op him?' hahaa
Sounds like alot of interesting prospects, include this with Lee's Wednesday story about UDTs; can see what is priority here.

To show that TGC is actually doing something.
Definately more Microsoft/Raven Software stance...

you ever get the chance to see DOS or Soldier of Fortune source code; definately a good read for the comments.

// Vector appears to flip upside down, but we need it within a Radian, so lets delete it an make a new one // Hack

or

// Jim, why does the memory not terminate itself when DCALL_lparam = MEM_DELETE ??
// Hack (remember to rewrite at a later date)

definately cracked me up have a feeling the DBP source code has alot of them, can just see it.

// UDT doesn't pass in using an array here
// Hack // Mike Remember to call UDTArrayHack1( LPSTR pArray ) when you need the pointer

I'm a little dissapointed that UDT's aren't going to be fixed until later...

The previous one stated otherwise to that though. There's still a lot more UDT problems though.
