It's finally ready I spent countless hours fixing the bugs to present you the beta. It's still a beta though, so don't expect much.

http://www.ggrpg.com

Here are some things you should know:
- GGRPG works on FF(NN), IE and K-Melon
- This is a Javascript game
- I said this is is a Javascript game... Don't expect wonders.
- There are lots more features coming
- More items and crafting recepies are coming
- I have not tested the current crafting recepies
- The chat should work now...
- Please enter your vaild email, if you don't receive verification code, post here.
- You use arrow keys to move around
- There is only 1 animation for the character(I am not lazy, I just don't have the animations)
- A bunch of stuff, I am just tired

very nice, couldn't get it to work in FF but it worked in IE, it would be nice if you could read the signs outside shops and houses.

The happenings of tommorow are behind us now

hi i was wondering if you would be able to make a game like this using dbpro 5.8. Where u could play the mmorpg directly on the web browser. Kinda like runescape. Except better. Or do you have to use java to make games like this?

Finally not a newb anymore at programming... now im just a rook.

If you want it on a web browser...Java is the best way to go. But Java is very difficult so be warned.

[EDIT]
DBP is NOT able to run through a webpage.

Never looked at it myself, never even attempted it, just going by what I hear...and I hear it is quite a bit harder than c++

Very Easy To Compare.

Tree Bark is much tastier than grasshoppers.

See, its not that hard.

That depends on the Tree/grasshopper, but being a fish I am biased towards the grasshopper being tastier.

Java is hard to learn!?
HA!
It's bloody simple!

And, you can't compare them!? What? Why not?
I can compare DBP with C++ ( I'd say C++ is better, though ), so why can't I compare Java and C++?

Jess.

If anything I'd say C++ is more difficult than Java C is even harder!

I am sorry guys haven't posted here in a while. I am just working on a new beta that will fix/add the following:

- Quests!(Inlcuding Newbie's Quest so you get to learn how to play)
- 2nd Town
- MAJOR monster modifications(they were IMPOSSIBLE to kill in this beta unless you cheated in one way or another)
- PvP(quite possibly)
- No Email verification(However you must have verified email for contests and other fun stuff that are coming in the future)

I never found any of those in the beta. I sort of stopped playing because the only thing I could do was shop, mine and chop. Even the blacksmith didn't work for me, kept saying I had the wrong stuff(even though I checked the list several times)

Part of solving the problem is actually noticing that the problem is there in the first place
