chapeau!

Thx

No, i'm a solo programmer, because I have bad experience of programming in team ...

Yes it will be online .

TOURNAMENT and MULTIPLAYER will be for the full game.
In this demo, there is only DEATHMATCH.

TOURNAMENT is like a career mod, where you "built" your mech.
In this mod, you will subscribe to differents tournaments, and you can win credits and points to upgrade your skills (speed, fire ...)

I will post here when it will be finished ... not yet

Sorry for the double post
There was an error like i was considered like a new member of that forum ... but now its good, i'm a real member, don't wait the administrator's check to post.

I post to show what i have made for the Tournament mod:

This is the menu were you create you player(i don't say its finished )
http://b3dgs.free.fr/al3/temp/al3_menutournois1.png

This is the menu were you can to buy/sell your guns (the models are rotating)
http://b3dgs.free.fr/al3/temp/al3_menutournois2.png

Here there is the menu to subscribe in one Tournament (some choices):
http://b3dgs.free.fr/al3/temp/al3_menutournois3.png

I continue this, and, certainly, i will post a new demo for the Tournament Mod (Solo Career)

(I know the game is in french, but don't worry, i will translate it to english )

Thx

I worked a lot to be able to post a new version, but its a preview.
So you can't play, also, you can see a part of the Tournament Menu (Carreer)

http://b3dgs.free.fr/al3/temp/AL3_Solo_Preview.rar

Its in english excepted somethings ...
like "ACCEPTER". It will say "ACCEPT"
"SUIVANT" will say "NEXT"
"PRECEDENT" will say "BACK"
"RETOUR" will say "RETURN"

Just this words ... because it's media type, not text.
I will translate these files for the full game.

And don't click on "START TO FIGHT" and "STATISTIC" because i have not finished this. To be continued

Wow, hey, what I've seen till now looks quite good. Maybe the dodging is a bit hard to do and fights are a bit 'stand still and keep LM pressed', but overall, great work really! Awesome!

I must say that at first I got a message that d3dx9_25.dll was missing so I just copied the d3dx9_28 file and renamed it to the correct name, now everything works. After, I got the above runtime error. Older demo did work.

My french is terrible, but anyway: tres bon!

Yay! It worked! Very pretty but the gameplay was slightly lacking. The number of times I respawned only to be shot and killed within a matter of seconds got quite annoying. Strafing was too slow so the winner was the one with most life/best weapon/luck at the start of the face-each-other-whilst-standing-still-and-holding-fire-in-the-hope-of-a-miracle bullet based transaction. Again though, very pretty!

just tried your game, very impressive! you could make alot of optimisations to make it go faster, but I don't have a fast PC anyway.

if you keep at it you could make something even more special, good work!

[EDIT]

my system is extremely old, so don't take any notice of me saying you could optimise further lol, although I'm sure you could! being extremely talented

If you want some feedback... After many minutes of intensive testing, I came to the conclusion, that the AI is way too good. You should make it a bit more silly, even if it may be realistic, because their kind of robots... the player isn't.
Anyway... cool game, nice weapons, nice effects, well structured and looking menu-system... and good background-music.
