...I'd be very happy to test FPSC Agent, TechNo VaLLey.

Your english is fine, TechNo VaLLey. Have no worries about how you sound in the video.

I believe that I have an idea of what FPSC Agent does...it acts as a central hub for running FPSC, and other executable components. Is that correct?

This could be a real time saver, helping to streamline things, with a bare minimum of mouseclicks. Folks could benefit from this.

Keep up the great works!

Thanks,

Seth Black

Yess you got the idea Seth ..

may be my language didn't express this but it's ok that you got my idea

i will fix few bugs and will post a version to test

later don't know when , will add some extra features to launch non-official FPS tools such as Signs, weapon creator, Firma etc ...

...OIC.

Adding launch capabilties for 3rd party apps would be huge! Would it be possible to create a user interface, so folks can customize the list of executables that FPSC Agent can open?

Can't wait for the release.

Thanks,

Seth Black

TechNo VaLLey,

I noticed you never clicked the settings menu, so I guess you are working on that.

Quote: "will add some extra features to launch non-official FPS tools such as Signs, weapon creator, Firma etc ...
"

It would be nice if we could add programs to the list ourselves, depending on what we have installed.

Another nice option would be a backup utility for the entire FPS Creator or FPS Creator X10 directory. How many people have screwed up their program and wish they could put it back to the way it was 10 minutes ago? LOL Some of us create our own directories and it saves a lot of time to back it up when you've got it how you want it. I just make a copy of the whole program directory on an external disk, but having it built in to this utility would be nice.

Anyway, the program looks professional and has promise.

Best.

EDIT: Seth, I guess I was typing while you were posting. Good suggestion.

@Seth I wish to enhance this version as i told you

@xplosys I am currently working on a version that allows users menu also Nice idea to add a backup utility but still will think about embedding it inside the code or calling an external backup utility such as WinZip or WinRAR etc ..

@Mr Love thanks I hope it will save a lot of time

TechNo VaLLey,

Had a chance to take FPSC Agent for a little spin.

Overall, I really like the sleak way that you designed it. The hide feature is handy, as it tucks it out of the way, when not in use.

I noticed that you have placeholders for both FPSC Entity Maker and FPSC Segment Editor, to the File menu. I like that idea a great deal.

In fact, as I've already stated before, I believe it would be an incredible addition, to allow the user to customize the lineup of programs that can be set to open via FPSC Agent.

I'm not a coder, but I think that it would be simple to allow the user to augment and alter the .dat files, through the GUI.

Before you continue with the development of the program, I would give serious thought into creating a unique skin, rather than borrowing the FPSC splash screen. TGC will probably frown upon the usage of the graphic.

I'd be happy to work with you, in designing a look that is appealing, yet ties FPSC Agent in with the FPSC motif.

In short, I think you've got a diamond-in-the-rough, just waiting to get out, TechNo VaLLey!

I like your program alot!

Thanks,

Seth Black

Well a suggestion might be to apply a keyboard shortcut (so long as the main window is open) to all the places

eg
Ctrl+E for Entitybank
Ctrl+Space for FPSC

The other thing that popped into my head is that you could cgo to FPSC-Game.exe. That will allow you to test the last game that was test ed straight from the Agent.

That's about all I can think of. Otherwise it's perfect.

Really Nice Ideas that's what i was going to add in my next update before I read this post

Now FPSC Agent v1.2 with two shortcuts addition as well as fixing several instances from the software problem .. only one running application .. fixed the following bug also: if FPSC was installed on another drive other than FPS Creator main drive
it wouldn't work fine ..

FPSC Agent v1.2 Download

Waiting for your comments

@bum fat cheese

This tool saves space on your desktop as well as organise your frequently usable destination folders and also collect the whole executable you are using with FPS Creator .. another word this application can be used also for non-related FPS purposes you can add your frequently used apps by customizing your user menu as you wish

I've just set a small price for this tool so that it will be affordable for everyone.

The amount of money is just for the time spent on programming it

Wish to hear from you soon

TechNo VaLLey,

Just DLed FPS Creator Agent Pro.

In about 5 minutes, I had all of my favorite 3rd party apps loaded. Wow, what a time saver!

Me likey!

C & C

A bit of a distraction when clicking on the User Menus for the first time: a dialog box in German pops up to load the interface.

Not a huge problem, but it was a bit of a surprise. I'd try to omit that, to give a more polished feel to the overall application.

That FPSC background is going to need to be swapped with something else, unless you can get an affirming nod from TGC.

Just ask, Ahmed, and I'll whip up some treatments and send them your way, for your approval.

Thanks,

Seth Black

EDIT:

Quote: "this is great, but i would rather make a folder on my desktop for free, and add all the shortcuts and folders i need."

...have fun with your short cuts.

In theory, you could use this app for launching a whole lot more than just FPSC-friendly programs.

I have the shortcut folder that you mention. It gets a wee bit crowded in there. After I load up my must-haves in FPSC Agent Pro, it'll really cut down on searching and mouseclicks.

TechNo VaLLey,

I received and used the registration information you sent me.

After I entered everything, and hit the ENTER key, this is the error message that popped up:

I've tried uninstalling, reinstalling, and rebooting my computer. I even omitted all references that I could locate in the registry.

I am now locked out of the program. Everytime I attempt to run it, the error message always pops up.

FPSC Agent Free Edition v1.3 runs just fine, but my copy of FPSC Agent Pro is dead in the water now.

I'll try installing on another machine, use the registration info, and see if I get the same response.

Thanks,

Seth Black
